Future site of The Gwaimen Center
To help improve the desperate
situations and living conditions
through the teaching of life,
business, and marketing skills, and
through agricultural and nutritional
education.

To raise awareness of the pandemic
HIV/AIDS, teaching methods of
prevention, protection, and sexual
health.

To provide social, emotional,
psychological, and spiritual support.

To develop positive values,
confidence, and self-esteem.

To foster an entrepreneurial spirit.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
-That education is emancipation. We use both formal and informal
forms of education to achieve this.

-That poverty is at the core of this pandemic. Most people who are
infected with the disease die faster due to lack of food and basic
care.

-That if people posses skills that will help income generation, they will
be able to eat and live better, thus providing a longer and better
quality of life for their entire family.
About The Gwaimen Center
THE GWAIMEN CENTER
OUR GOALS
To empower widows and orphans
through holistic sustainable
development. In the belief that
education is the means to freedom,
we provide a broad spectrum from
nutrition to job skill training.
OUR VISION
The future of The Gwaimen Center!
We are pleased to announce that
construction began in November
2006! The community made the
generous donation of land for our
use, and will be involved in the
building process. This land belongs
to the community, furthering the goal
of self-sufficency.
